There’s a pattern here that I hadn’t seen before. I wanted to write down these thoughts before they faded. It occurred to me while making coffee this morning. The changing seasons always make me contemplative. I find that writing helps me organize scattered thoughts. Walking through the neighborhood always sparks new ideas. I’m not sure where this train of thought will lead. The sound of the rain outside makes for good thinking weather. I’ve been thinking about this topic for a while now. Something about rainy days makes everything feel more vivid. I was surprised to discover how much I had to say about this. There’s beauty in the mundane if you look closely enough. A conversation with a friend brought this to mind.
